A big welcome to all of my lovely followers and visitors to my little space in the crafting world of blogland! I love colouring, drool over every embellishment and love to 'look' at papers (never mind using them) - some are just TOO good to use lol. I hope you enjoy your little wander through my creative world and would love to feel that I may have inspired some of you in some small way. Happy Crafting to you all and I hope you will stop by again soon!

Hobby House Inspiration

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

It's my turn for a little inspiration today over at the Hobby House and I chose to use this beautiful new topper from the Elisabeth Bell range called April Showers.  I actually made this card back in February when we were having nothing but rain, rain and more rain LOL.  Also, I was super chuffed to have my little creation aired on Create & Craft, along with a couple more of my creations, and my little boy was in awe that my card was on TV .... although he was a little less pleased to see that, after showing it, they 'squashed' it (his words) with another card ...... hee hee, bless him :)

These new toppers are just so gorgeous and so easy to create with.  I used the 8" x 8" Country Lady papers by Lili of the Valley, which co-ordinated perfectly with this topper, and only changed the topper slightly by adding a little ivory chalk over it.  The butterflies are from my Joanna Sheen Signature die.  You can find a list of all of the fabulous Hobby House products I used listed separately HERE.  The green ribbon was originally white and I coloured with Copics to co-ordinate with the image.

It's the start of our April Challenge tomorrow so make sure you head on over to see what our theme will be for the next month and for your chance to win some delicious Hobby House goodies!

Thanks so much for popping by today and I hope you can join us throughout April with your beautiful creations.

Big hugs xx

Scribble & Scrap Challenge #15 - Anything Goes

Happy Sunday everyone and a huge Happy Mother's Day to each and every wonderful Mum celebrating this day here in the UK.   Can you believe, the clocks bounced forward today and us Mum's actually get an hour less to relish getting waited on hand and foot!! How inconsiderate LOL.

Well, it's time for our ANYTHING GOES Challenge at Scribble & Scrap and, as always, our winner will receive a £15 voucher from the Scribble & Scrap Shop.  However, if the winner has used a Scribble & Scrap product, the prize will be raised to a massive £20 voucher!! How cool is that?  Also, our Top 3 also win a £5 voucher! Please check out the RULES so as not to miss out on these fabby prizes!

Okay, so, last weekend was spent away with my fabulous family.  We went to beautiful West Bay in Dorset and had a ball ..... we swam, flew kites, went bowling, tried crabbing (although the crabs weren't having any of it), swam again, dodged waves (resulting in me falling over ...... hilarious lol) and had loads of fun at a fab park!  In fact, I think us adults had more fun than the kids ha ha!
Anyway, rather than coming home refreshed, I came home exhausted hehe! Dragged myself through work last week and my crafty mojo decided to stay in West Bay!!!

My creation this week is not a usual one for me, but I hope you like it all the same!   I dressed up an A4 MDF picture frame using the gorgeous Vintage Paper Set 1 - I absolutely love these papers!
I distressed and embossed the edges of the paper with frantage and also embossed the centre area.  My floral display is a mixture of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I adore butterflies (can you tell?) and used various dies to create them.  The poppy red ones have been coloured with Copics and the grey have been created from the paper waste.  I added liquid pearls to my corner dies and the rhinestones on the butterflies and gorgeous pearl string are both from the Hobby House

We love seeing your fabulous creations and hope you'll all join us again this time - my DTeamies have come up with some fabulous inspiration for you all.

I'd like to enter into the following:
TBA

Right ..... I'm off to find my mojo and to enjoy being spoilt ;)  Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!  Happy Crafting!
Big hugs xx

Artbymiran Challenge #2 - ANYTHING GOES

Morning Everyone and a Happy Friday to you all :)

I can't believe two weeks have gone by already since the start of our first challenge.  We have had the most beautiful entries and look forward very much to seeing everyone's fabulous creations in our second Artbymiran Challenge, which is, of course,
ANYTHING GOES!!

Mi Ran is offering a fabulous prize to our Winner and Top 3 and you can check out all the info plus the rules HERE

My card today is showcasing the very beautiful Blowing Bubbles.

I added the lettering onto the bubbles by merging in Word before printing my image - it was a bit tricky to get the letters the right size for each bubble, but I got there .... eventually LOL.

I coloured this gorgeous girly in Copics in the following:
Skin:  E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair:  B00, B12, B23, B24, B39
Top:  BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08

I had so much fun colouring this little beauty up, although my E21 decided to go sticky on me whilst in the process of colouring her face ....... don't you just hate when that happens?!

For the rest of my card I used plain purple cardstock from my stash, mini dots paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The purple ribbon and rhinestone flourishes are from the Hobby House, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cute little glass pebbles are from Live & Love Crafts.  The lace and blue gems are both from my stash.

I really hope you'll pop on over to the Challenge and check out my DTeamies' fabulous creations and enter your beautiful creations for us to have a drool over at the same time :)

Look forward to seeing you there!

Scribble & Scrap # 14 - Anything Goes

Happy Sunday Everyone! Another fabulous sunny day here in the South East - hope it's warm and bright wherever you are too!

Guess what?  It's time for another ANYTHING GOES Challenge at

Our challenge winner will receive a £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble & Scrap Shop, however, if the winner has used a Scribble & Scrap product, the prize will be raised to a mahoosive £20.  Top 3 also win a very generous £5 voucher each too!  How cool is that?
Please check out the RULES to be in with a chance of winning!

For my post today, I had sooooo much fun dressing up a tissue box holder.  I have made this as a birthday gift for my fabulous boss ..... hope she likes it as I do so want to keep my job ;)

This is a picture heavy post .... hope you manage to stay with me to the end LOL
I decorated each side of the box with some gorgeous Scribble & Scrap digital papers - Vintage Paper Set 1 being the 'base' paper merged with Grungy Florals - Natural for the centre circle on each.
I have popped a mini 'feather boa' around the top hole to tie in with the gorgeous gal I've used - okay, so my boss may get feathers on her nose when she wipes ..... but they'll be pretty feathers ;)
This adorably cute image is called Lola Cabaret and can be found in the Artbymiran shop HERE.
I just had to have this little doll .... not only is she uber cute, she also has the same name as my little granddaughter - minus 'cabaret' of course! Heehee!
I have decorated the left side of the box to mirror the right - using a mixture of all of my favourite things to embellish with.  Buttons, pearls, die-cut butterflies, flowers, pearl flourishes and lace - keeping enough space free to show off the beautiful papers.
The back has been kept to a bare minimum
so it can be put against a wall, if my boss so wishes, without squashing anything :)

Lola has been coloured up with Copics in the following:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E21, E04
Hair/Dress/Stockings:  C0, C1, C3, C5
Skirt/Shoes:  E33, E31, E51, E50

Items used:  Pearls, pearl string, buttons, pearl flourish - all from the Hobby House
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Lace & 'feather boa' - from a gorgeous little shop in Windsor
Tissue Box - from 'Make It' craft event (MDF Man)
Various die-cut butterflies and doily
Glitter card from stash

I'd love you to pop on over and see what my DTeamies have all come up with this time and we hope you can all join us again over this next fortnight as we love browsing through your fabulous creations!

Hobby House Midway Challenge Reminder - Buttons

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you've all had a fabulous week - can you believe it's the weekend again already? Yay!!!!!

It's our midway reminder for the Hobby House Challenge today and our theme is
BUTTONS
Please remember to use at least ONE Hobby House product and mention in your post the product you've used.

As always, our winner will receive this WHOPPING prize!

I decided to dress up a tag for my midway inspiration and had a lot of fun with it!

This was so easy peasy to put together as the gorgeous topper, papers, ribbon, doily, and wording all come together in the Wee Sweet Blossom Cardmaking Kit (with loads more besides).  An amazing kit where everything co-ordinates so beautifully!  A beautiful pearl flourish pack also comes in the set, however, the one I used for this little tag can be found here.  I inked the topper and words with chalk and die cut the little butterflies using my Butterflies and Dragonfly Signature Die.

I had fun playing with these gorgeous buttons, which are part of the fabby HH Embellishment Set - Wedding Day and added individual adhesive pearls on top of each button.

I hope you'll join us for the remaining half of our challenge - you have until 29th March to enter so there's still plenty of time to get your fab creations in!
We so look forward to seeing what you create this time!

Thanks so much for popping along here today and your visits and kind comments are so very much appreciated!

I would like to enter my tag into the following:

Big hugs,

Our first challenge is ANYTHING GOES so no excuses not to join in :)
Mi Ran is offering a fabulous prize to each of our Winners and Top 3 and you can check out all the info plus the rules HERE.

For my first Challenge DT card, I chose to colour up the extremely beautiful Ceridwen

I absolutely adore how dainty and delicate she is with her flowing hair and dress!

I coloured her up with Copics and fussy cut around her, then layered her onto my die-cut mat which has her pretty flower shower happening all around her!

The DP's are Bonnets & Bowties from LOTV.  The flowers are a mixture from WOCHobby House and Live & Love Crafts.  Lace, pearl strings, rhinestone flourish, adhesive pearls & bling are all from HH and the butterfly die and heart doily are from Joanna Sheen.

The little zipper is from my stash and says 'precious' ... which I think suits this gorgeous girl perfectly!

I really do hope you can join us in the start of this fabulous new venture and look forward to seeing your beautiful creations.  Don't forget to check out my awesome DTeamies' creations too - they're stunning!

Hobby House Inspiration - Buttons

Hiya everyone and a Happy Wednesday to all :)  This week is literally flying by ..... soon be the weekend again! Woohoo!!

It's my day for a little bit of inspiration over at the Hobby House and, as our Challenge this month is BUTTONS I thought I'd make a little 'button tree' card.

(I must apologise for the poor quality of the pic and I'll blame the lack of sunlight and too much rain)

I stamped my Kanban tree onto plain cardstock and matted and layered onto card from my stash.  I popped a button over each of the 'flowers' on the tree stamp with hot glue to make sure they stuck!  I've heard of falling leaves but didn't fancy the idea of falling buttons!! I cut two 6" lengths of lace in half to decorate the outer edge of the card and added gorgeous pearl string onto the inner layer.

To say I don't use buttons an awful lot on my projects, I actually had a load of fun with these and will make more of an effort to use them a bit more now :)

You can find a list of all of the gorgeous Hobby House products I have used on my card listed separately HERE on the Hobby House Blog.

I hope you will join us in our challenge this month.  Please remember your creation must fit in with our button theme and have at least one Hobby House product on it (please list what it is)
We look forward to seeing your fabulous creations this month!

Thanks so much for popping by today!  Take Care and Happy Crafting!

Scribble & Scrap Challenge #13

Morning everyone! Hope you're all keeping well.

It's Scribble & Scrap Challenge time again! As always, it's
ANYTHING GOES
and we want to see all of your fabulous new creations over this next coming fortnight.

The winner of the challenge will receive a £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble & Scrap Shop, however, if the winner has used a Scribble & Scrap product, the prize rises to a whopping £20.  Top 3 also gain from a fabulous £5 voucher too!  To be in with a chance of winning, please check out the RULES as we really wouldn't want you to miss out!

My card today is showcasing some stunning digital papers called Grungy Florals - Natural, which can be found in the SHOP alongside a whole host of beautiful paper sets - not forgetting some gorgeous vintage photo sheets, digital stamps and sentiments.

The adorable digi stamp on my card is Shy Girl by Art by Mi Ran and I coloured her up in Copics to match in with the gorgeous turquoise tone of the paper.
You may or may not have noticed too that I've also printed the paper design onto a doily.  I'm quite proud of myself with this one as, although I've inked and stamped onto doilies, I've never actually printed onto them!  I was a bit wary in case my printer ate it ..... but it didn't and all was good!  Yay!! Lol.

A little close up of my printed pattern doily :)

I hope you'll hop on over to see what my DTeamies have created for you all this time and enter your creation whilst you're there!  Can't wait to see what you have in store for us all this time!
