The Hobby House - DT Inspiration

Morning Everyone and a Happy Mid-Week to you all :)

Today is my turn to inspire over at The Hobby House and I chose to create this little easel card.

I'm loving making Christmas cards at the moment and, if you're in a Christmassy creative mood, why not head on over to our Challenge #3 at the Hobby House and drop us off a card or two to drool over :)

The backing papers for my card are from a fairly old Kanban Patchwork Pals set, which I rummaged through and was over the moon to notice how closely they matched this gorgeous Wee Stamps 'Holly Time' Topper.  Then, it was just a case of adding things ....... and I DO like to add things! LOL!  If you haven't browsed The Hobby House online store already, you really should as there is SO MUCH fabulous embellishments, toppers, stamps etc., to choose from!

My card ingredients:

Wee Stamps 'Holly Time' Topper
Mulberry Flowers
Sparkling Rhinestones
Snowflake Charm
Pearl String
Rose Ribbon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other Ingredients:
BP's - Kanban Patchwork Pals
Marianne Design Snowflake Dies
Snowtex
I hope you like my little bit of inspiration today and hope to see your entries into our Challenge 3 this month.
Big hugs xx
Ch #14 Lacy Sunshine - Your Favourite Things
Good Morning lovely peeps!  It's that time again .... Challenge #14 is now up and running over at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge and we have a few slight changes.  Firstly, our challenge is no longer Anything Goes.  We have gone back to good old themes again and our theme for this next fortnight is
  YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS!
A nice easy peasy one to get us all started - your image MUST be hand coloured, then use your favourite things on your creation and list them in your entry.  We have also started a 'Loyalty Program' for Challenge Digis and more info can be found on the Challenge Blog
Our Winner/Top 3/GDT of Challenge #13 have been announced so you might want to head on over to see who the lucky ones are HERE
For this challenge we got to choose one our favourite Lacy Sunshine digis to use ..... well ... erm ... hum .... bit of a difficult one for me as I love ALL of them.  There's so many wonderful characters to choose from and if you head on over to The Lacy Sunshine Store you'll see EXACTLY what I mean!
I chose to create a little sweet tub with Bubbles Galore.  I've had her for a little while now and just never got the chance to colour her up!  She's super adorable with her gorgeous curls, fabulous hat (I want one) and surrounded by delicious sweets (I need some) ... LOL!
Isn't she adorable?
Bubbles is coloured with Copics in the following:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11   Turquoise:  B000, BG01, BG05, BG09
Purple:  BV02, BV08, BV13, BV31    Pink:  V000, V91, V95
The little doily she sits on has been completely coated with glitter giving off a fab, shimmery effect .... although you can't quite see that effect here LOL
The beautiful papers are Bonnets & Bowties, which you can get from LOTV.  The bow is a product of me playing about with ribbon and coming up with this :)
Other ingredients used for my little sweet box:
Flat backed flower pearls/Flowers - WOC
Rhinestone Button - The Hobby House
Martha Stewart Edge Punch
Doily/Pearls/Glitter/Ribbon - from stash
I'd like to enter into the following:
613 Avenue Create Challenge Ch #31
Hiya Everyone!
It's a fresh challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and our theme for this week is ANYTHING GOES with an optional twist to Add a Sentiment
Our Sponsors this week are the fabulous RSD and Sassy Studio Designs
For my card this time I chose to colour up this fabulous SS Design called 'Snowman Pin-Up'
My navy backing paper is actually left over wrapping paper from a local supermarket and I created a patchwork layer from the Patchwork Pals Kanban cardstock, which I've had in my stash for a few years now.  The top layer is another part of the Kanban kit - it's amazing what you find again when rummaging through old stuff isn't it! LOL
I coloured this little beauty up with Copics in the following:
Skin Tones:  E000, E00, E11    Blue Tones:   B000, B00, B39, B45
Red Tones:   R20, R32, R35, R59    Green Tones:  YG03, YG95 & Promarker Lime Green
Card ingredients:
Poinsettia, Pearls, Ribbon, Sentiment, Liquid Pearls & Glitter from stash.
I'd like to enter my card into the following:
ABC Christmas Challenge - 'O' is for O' Christmas Tree
Addicted to Stamps - Ch #56 Anything Goes
Paper Crafting Journey - Punches and/or Die Cuts
Sister Act Card Challenge - Ch #18 Anything Goes
Thanks so much for popping by today and I'd love you to have a wander on over to our challenge and see what my fab Teamies have created for you all and we look forward to seeing what you create this time!
The Hobby House Ch #3 - Christmas
Morning all - hope you're all keeping happy and well :)
It's time for the start of a fresh challenge over at The Hobby House and our theme for the month is CHRISTMAS!!
The fabulous prize is a massive £25 to spend at The Hobby House Store (postage paid by winner).
I decided to try something a little different from the norm for me and have gone with a pretty, festive cracker!  It may not be the best cracker in crackerland .... but it is my first try and, so far, it's still standing firm LOL.
I got the fabulous cracker template from The Cutting Cafe.  As the template wasn't quite big enough for what I wanted and not having any fancy cutting devices etc., I used my little ole brain to work out measurements for a larger cracker, pencilled it onto larger cardstock and cut it all out by hand keeping my fingers crossed that it was all going to fit together ...... and it did!!!
Hobby House Products used:
Jingle Bell Charms (They really do jingle too)
Ribbon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other Items used:

Wild Rose Studio - Wintry Christmas Paper
Marianne Design Snowflake Dies
Liquid Pearls & Glitter

Well, I really hope you like my cracker attempt today and would love for you to pop on over to the HH Challenge to have a look at what my very clever teamies have created and to enter your fab creations whilst you're there!

I would like to enter into the following:

Crafting for all Seasons #57 - Christmas in July
Creative Moments #22 - Anything but a Card
Deep Ocean Challenge #57 - Christmas in July
Little Red Wagon #196 - Christmas in July
Sparkles Christmas Challenge #31 - Charmed I'm Sure

Big hugs xx
