A big welcome to all of my lovely followers and visitors to my little space in the crafting world of blogland! I love colouring, drool over every embellishment and love to 'look' at papers (never mind using them) - some are just TOO good to use lol. I hope you enjoy your little wander through my creative world and would love to feel that I may have inspired some of you in some small way. Happy Crafting to you all and I hope you will stop by again soon!

Champagne Lucy

Hi everyone and a Happy Friday to you all!
I hope you are all keeping well and still happily crafting!  I've had a bit of a lapse with my craftiness of late!  My mojo seems to have decided to play 'hide and seek' and, for the life of me, I can't seem to seek it out!  Don't you just hate it when that happens LOL.

Anyway, enough of my lack of creativeness ....... I'm hoping your creative juices are flowing at full speed as it's time for CHALLENGE 11 over on the Artbymiran Challenge Blog.
As always, it's ANYTHING GOES using a hand coloured image!

I apologise in advance, but this is a VERY HEAVY picture post!!!  I have had the absolute pleasure of colouring up this little beauty from Mi Ran's new range of stamps in rubber, which can be found at the Whimsy Stamps store HERE.  This particular image is called
CHAMPAGNE LUCY and you can find her HERE.

I made another tissue box for a very good friend of mine and I just had to colour up Champagne Lucy as she has a huge resemble to my lovely friend!
I coloured this darling image with Prismacolor Pencils to compliment my beautiful new digital papers from M R Design - called 'Autumn Shabby Blue'.

I attached lace, ribbon and pearls (from my stash) all along the top side of the box and a length of pearl string from the Hobby House, along the bottom side.
The butterflies and birthday quotes are from a kit I bought from Kanban many moons ago and of which I was thrilled to bits that they matched up perfectly with the colourway.  I added a few more pearls to the butterfly and sentiment.
As I did with my other tissue box, which you can find HERE, I added a mini 'feather boa' around the top!  I know, a feathery nose could be the outcome but, hey, it looks pretty heehee!!

Lastly, a little close up of the adorable Champagne Lucy in all her finery!
Well, I hope you managed to stay with me this far down and that you'll have a wander over to the Whimsy Store and check out these beautiful images!  You can also find a huge array of adorable digital images, also by Mi Ran, on her Etsy site HERE.

I really hope you can join us again over this next two weeks in our Challenge.  My DTeamies and our GDT have created some beautiful works of art to inspire you all and we look forward to seeing yours there too!

Hi everyone and welcome to day 2 of our Art by Mi Ran Collection release!  This is such an exciting time for our extremely talented and gorgeous Mi Ran and I'm so happy to be able to share in this wonderful part of her journey!

In case you missed it, yesterday, we started our debut release with a blog hop sharing DT creations using the 7 new rubber stamps, illustrated by Mi Ran, exclusively for Whimsy Stamps. Today and tomorrow we will host more blog hops full of inspiration and chances to win more prizes too!

All of the new rubber stamps will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday, July 16th. For this release, we are excited to be joined by guest designers Alyce Keegan and Mariska van der Veer as well as the Art by MiRan digital design team.

PRIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left here and on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment to be entered into the draw.

Now, it’s time to check out what the amazing designers have created with these new stamps. Don’t forget to leave a comment at every stop along the hop to be entered into the draw to win a $15 gift certificate.

My share with you today is of the very beautiful Coventina!

I coloured this gorgeous girl with Prismacolor pencils and thoroughly enjoyed bringing this little beauty to life! I created a little wall hanger using the backing board of one of my 6" x 6" paper packs and covered with 'plain & simple' digital papers from Bearly Mine Designs.  The beautiful flowers are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pearl string is from the Hobby House and the little shells are from my stash.

I hope you like my little piece of inspiration today and that you have a whole lot of fun checking out the awesome creations on the Hop!

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again tomorrow for our final release day hop!

Big hugs xx

Autumn's Memoirs

Hey Everyone! How are you all doing?  I hope you're all well and happily crafting :)  I've been running around like a mad thing this last couple of weeks and, sadly, not a lot of crafting has been done!  Everytime I feel I'll have a free moment to craft, something else crops up and I have to put it aside!! Ah well, such is life hey?

It's time for Challenge 10 over at the fabulous Art by Miran challenge page and, as always, it's ANYTHING GOES!!!
This can literally be anything you fancy creating as long as you use a hand coloured image!  More details on the rules can be found HERE

My card today is showcasing the very gorgeous
Isn't she just a doll?

I coloured this little lady up with Prismacolor pencils and, for once, I kept the card pretty simple.  The paper was from my stash, which I thought was perfect for this image, and I printed a larger version of the image and coloured and cut out the leaves to pop on top of the jute fabric border with 3D pads.

A little close up of Autumn's Memoirs
I absolutely loved colouring this little lady and love her gorgeous beret :)
You can find more of Mi Ran's fabulous art work HERE and you certainly won't be dissapointed!  Every image is just as beautiful as the next and the only struggle you'll have is to choose which one to colour up!

We hope you can join in with the Challenge this next fortnight and look forward to seeing your fab creations!  We have a gorgeous line up of my amazing DTeamies' creations for inspirational ideas for these beauties, as well as a fabulous card created by our GDT this time.
