Cupid's Little Helper

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday to you all!

I'm here today to share with you my LAST project as a DT member for the fabulous Mi Ran of Artbymiran!  With so much going on in my personal life at the moment, I took the really difficult decision to step down from her fabulous DT! I feel her beautiful images should be showcased to the fullest but, alas, for the time being anyway, I just simply don't have the time to be able to do them justice and feel it's only right to step away for a little while.
So, a massive THANK YOU goes out to Mi Ran for being so brilliant to work for and to the fabulous Artbymiran DT girls! You Rock!!

So, for Challenge 13, which, as always, is ANYTHING GOES using a hand coloured image, I have created with the very sassy Cupid's Little Helper who takes centre stage in this cute little shadow box!
I coloured this little cutie in Prismacolors and thought the cute little sentiment from Create with TLC was perfect for her!
I bought the wooden shadow box from Wilkinsons, painted it black and adhered patterned paper from my stash onto the inside 'walls' of the box, along with adding a couple of gorgeous flowers from WOC on the inside.  The little bead heart was 'painted' black with a Copic pen.
A little side view just to show the dimension on this cute box.
I attached the gorgeous pearl string from the Hobby House around the edge and popped the little white hearts to each corner.  Added a couple more flowers to the edge and the cute little diecut banner from Joanna Sheen and voila!! All done :)

I hope you will join Mi Ran and her fabulous DT girls in the Challenge this time!
Good Luck and Big Hugs to you all!

Champagne Lucy

Hi everyone and a Happy Friday to you all!
I hope you are all keeping well and still happily crafting!  I've had a bit of a lapse with my craftiness of late!  My mojo seems to have decided to play 'hide and seek' and, for the life of me, I can't seem to seek it out!  Don't you just hate it when that happens LOL.

Anyway, enough of my lack of creativeness ....... I'm hoping your creative juices are flowing at full speed as it's time for CHALLENGE 11 over on the Artbymiran Challenge Blog.
As always, it's ANYTHING GOES using a hand coloured image!

I apologise in advance, but this is a VERY HEAVY picture post!!!  I have had the absolute pleasure of colouring up this little beauty from Mi Ran's new range of stamps in rubber, which can be found at the Whimsy Stamps store HERE.  This particular image is called
CHAMPAGNE LUCY and you can find her HERE.

I made another tissue box for a very good friend of mine and I just had to colour up Champagne Lucy as she has a huge resemble to my lovely friend!
I coloured this darling image with Prismacolor Pencils to compliment my beautiful new digital papers from M R Design - called 'Autumn Shabby Blue'.

I attached lace, ribbon and pearls (from my stash) all along the top side of the box and a length of pearl string from the Hobby House, along the bottom side.
The butterflies and birthday quotes are from a kit I bought from Kanban many moons ago and of which I was thrilled to bits that they matched up perfectly with the colourway.  I added a few more pearls to the butterfly and sentiment.
As I did with my other tissue box, which you can find HERE, I added a mini 'feather boa' around the top!  I know, a feathery nose could be the outcome but, hey, it looks pretty heehee!!

Lastly, a little close up of the adorable Champagne Lucy in all her finery!
Well, I hope you managed to stay with me this far down and that you'll have a wander over to the Whimsy Store and check out these beautiful images!  You can also find a huge array of adorable digital images, also by Mi Ran, on her Etsy site HERE.

I really hope you can join us again over this next two weeks in our Challenge.  My DTeamies and our GDT have created some beautiful works of art to inspire you all and we look forward to seeing yours there too!

I coloured this gorgeous girl with Prismacolor pencils and thoroughly enjoyed bringing this little beauty to life! I created a little wall hanger using the backing board of one of my 6" x 6" paper packs and covered with 'plain & simple' digital papers from Bearly Mine Designs.  The beautiful flowers are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pearl string is from the Hobby House and the little shells are from my stash.

I hope you like my little piece of inspiration today and that you have a whole lot of fun checking out the awesome creations on the Hop!

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again tomorrow for our final release day hop!

Autumn's Memoirs

Hey Everyone! How are you all doing?  I hope you're all well and happily crafting :)  I've been running around like a mad thing this last couple of weeks and, sadly, not a lot of crafting has been done!  Everytime I feel I'll have a free moment to craft, something else crops up and I have to put it aside!! Ah well, such is life hey?

It's time for Challenge 10 over at the fabulous Art by Miran challenge page and, as always, it's ANYTHING GOES!!!
This can literally be anything you fancy creating as long as you use a hand coloured image!  More details on the rules can be found HERE

My card today is showcasing the very gorgeous
Isn't she just a doll?

I coloured this little lady up with Prismacolor pencils and, for once, I kept the card pretty simple.  The paper was from my stash, which I thought was perfect for this image, and I printed a larger version of the image and coloured and cut out the leaves to pop on top of the jute fabric border with 3D pads.

A little close up of Autumn's Memoirs
I absolutely loved colouring this little lady and love her gorgeous beret :)
You can find more of Mi Ran's fabulous art work HERE and you certainly won't be dissapointed!  Every image is just as beautiful as the next and the only struggle you'll have is to choose which one to colour up!

We hope you can join in with the Challenge this next fortnight and look forward to seeing your fab creations!  We have a gorgeous line up of my amazing DTeamies' creations for inspirational ideas for these beauties, as well as a fabulous card created by our GDT this time.

Pretty Molly and a DT Call

Hiya lovely crafty peeps! Hope you're all well and happy :)  I'm super happy right now .... it was my birthday on Wednesday and I got extremely spoilt!  My daughters treated me to my first ever Pandora charm bracelet!! Oh my word! How excited was I?  They are both very lucky to already have one of these beautiful little gems and I was always a little envious LOL .... they probably just wanted to shut me up hehe!

Another reason for me being super happy right now is that I'm finally off for my very own wedding dress fitting tomorrow!! Eeeeek! I'm so happy right now I could burst!  Wedding plans are well underway .... let's just hope I don't turn into Bridezilla .....

Anyway, enough of me!  It's time for Challenge 9 at Art By Miran and, as always, it's
ANYTHING GOES!!!
(with a hand coloured image)

The hugely talented Mi Ran has been working up an absolute treat for you all with her newest images.  I love all of her images, which you can find HERE, and it's always such a difficult choice of which one to use!  I decided to colour up the adorable  PRETTY MOLLY and here she is ......
She's certainly pretty for sure!
I coloured her up with Prismacolor Pencils (love playing with these at the moment) then fussy cut her out and popped her onto the card 3D style.  The papers are from LOTV and I die-cut the top edge using a Lace Edge Signature Die from Joanna Sheen.  The Butterfly Die is also Joanna Sheen and the flourish is an XCut 'Leafy Flourish' Die.

The flowers are a mixture from WOC and the Hobby House and the little adhesive gems are from my stash.
A little close up for you ..... I know I need more practice on blending the pencils together to get a much smoother look, but I am trying .... honest!! ;)

One more exciting announcement before I go ...... Art By Miran are in the process of having a DT Call, which ends on June 30th!  If you love these images as much as we do and would love to work amongst Mi Ran's fabulous team of ladies, head on over HERE to apply!

Sweet Cheeks

Morning Everyone! Hope you're all keeping fit and well and enjoying this beautiful weather we're having at the moment! You've gotta love a bit of sunshine ......

We're already onto Challenge 8 at Artbymiran with lots more loveliness to share from my fab DTeamies.

As always, it's an ANYTHING GOES challenge - how easy peasy is that?  All we ask is that you use a hand coloured image - a little low down on the rules can be found HERE.

I decided to have a little go at the 'no lines' colouring for my creation this time.  I've never tried it before and it's probably not as 'invisible' as some of the fab creations I've seen around blog land, but I did have a lot of fun with it :)  The little lady taking centre stage on my door hanger is the very adorable

Isn't she just the cutest .... and there's oodles more of Mi Ran's fabulous images to be found in her store HERE.

I coloured Sweet Cheeks' skin and hair with Copics and her clothes and hair accessory with Prismacolor Pencils.  The gorgeous papers are called Always & Forever from Lili of the Valley and I distressed the edges for a shabby feel.  The little wooden hanging heart at the top was from The Range, which I covered in the same papers, then added some little wooden stars which I frantaged.  I also frantaged around the gorgeous Sweet Cheeks, as you can probably tell LOL.  The beautiful flowers are from WOC and the all important door hanger and little pearl hearts are from the Hobby House.

A little close up!

I hope you can join us again this time and we look forward to seeing what you create!

I would like to enter into the following:
Craft my Life - June/July - Anything Goes but NO Cards
Crafty Creations Challenges - #265 Tic-Tac-Toe (Flowers/Ribbon/Digital Image)
Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes

Thanks for popping along here today! Happy Crafting Everyone!

Art by Miran Challenge #7 - Anything Goes

Hiya everyone and a Happy Friday to you all.

It's that time again folks!  A fresh challenge is up and running at Artbymiran - can you believe we are already on Challenge #7?  Wow!! How time flies!

As always, it's an ANYTHING GOES challenge! All we ask is that you use a hand coloured image on your creation - a low down of the rules can be found here.

Today I'm sharing with you Little Garden Sally.  This little lady was part of a set which Mi Ran kindly offered as a freebie last week as a Member Celebration on our Facebook Group.  I hope you didn't miss out as she's truly a little beauty to colour up.

I made this card for my adorable little Granddaughter, Lola, who was 5 years old yesterday! Bless her little heart - she opened it, had an intake of breath and said 'Oh Nanny! It's soooo beautiful' Awww, how super sweet is that? Heehee!

I did something a little different this time and used Prismacolor Pencils on the majority of my image - apart from her face!! How scary was this? I'm a Copic girl at heart, but have desperately wanted to try another medium for a while now.  Bought my new pencils a little while back and kept getting them out of the box, having a little scribble, then putting them back again! LOL.  It's not the greatest pencil colouring, but not too bad for a 1st attempt hopefully? ;)

I used Shabby Chic papers from Lili of the Valley and the gorgeous array of flowers and pearl flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The butterflies at her side are little wooden ones, which I coloured up and glittered.  The gorgeous pink butterfly and small clear domes are from my stash from donkeys' years ago - I had a little de-clutter of my craft room the other week and found them again LOL.

A little close up for you - as you can probably tell, more practice is needed with my pencils but at least I managed to actually colour a whole image this time with them instead of just scribbling heehee!

I hope you'll join us again for the challenge and check out my lovely DTeamies' creations too whilst you're there.  If you haven't already done so, head on over to our FB page to join in with some fab competitions we have going on there too!

I'd like to enter into the following:

Skin:  E000, E00, E11
Hair:  C0, C1, C3, C5, C7

Artbymiran Challenge #3 - ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning lovely peeps and a Happy Friday to you all.

Can you believe it?  We're already on our 3rd challenge at Artbymiran Challenge.  Once again we had the most beautiful entries into our 2nd challenge - each and every one of them such stunning works of art!  It's a real pleasure drooling over your fab creations and I hope you'll join us again this time!  As always, it's ANYTHING GOES!!

Mi Ran has an amazing prize for our Winner and Top 3 and you can check out the info plus the rules HERE.

My card today is showcasing the ever beautiful Venus

Isn't she a little beauty?  I just adore Mi Ran's images and you can find plenty more at fabulous prices HERE.  They are all digital stamps and available for instant download, so no waiting around twiddling your thumbs!

I got in a bit of a pickle with my colouring on this little girly ..... this was my EIGHTH attempt!!! For some reason at the moment, my Copics are just not playing ball when it comes to colouring skin and so I ended up colouring the majority of her skin with promarkers.  Thankfully, the Copics I used for her hair and dress were much more accommodating and allowed me to do exactly what I'd planned LOL.

My card base was pinched from my mum's stash (thanks mum).  It's from Hunkydory, but, alas, I can't find a link for it so I'm not sure if it has actually been discontinued.  I really hope not as I love the whole effect it gives.  Also, there are nowhere near as many embellishments on it as I normally do as I think the image and card speak for themselves ...... with a few compulsory flowers of course heehee!

Although this is not the best picture taken in the world, I just wanted to show you the side view, which shows the card frame with little Venus nestling comfortably inside.
All of the flowers and that gorgeous flat backed diamond with centre pearl can be found at Wild Orchid Crafts and the beautiful pearl string down the side is from the Hobby House.

I really hope you like my card today and would love for you to pop over to the Challenge and check out my DTeamies' fabulous creations, as well as entering your own whilst you're there :)

Artbymiran Challenge #2 - ANYTHING GOES

Morning Everyone and a Happy Friday to you all :)

I can't believe two weeks have gone by already since the start of our first challenge.  We have had the most beautiful entries and look forward very much to seeing everyone's fabulous creations in our second Artbymiran Challenge, which is, of course,
ANYTHING GOES!!

Mi Ran is offering a fabulous prize to our Winner and Top 3 and you can check out all the info plus the rules HERE

My card today is showcasing the very beautiful Blowing Bubbles.

I added the lettering onto the bubbles by merging in Word before printing my image - it was a bit tricky to get the letters the right size for each bubble, but I got there .... eventually LOL.

I coloured this gorgeous girly in Copics in the following:
Skin:  E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair:  B00, B12, B23, B24, B39
Top:  BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08

I had so much fun colouring this little beauty up, although my E21 decided to go sticky on me whilst in the process of colouring her face ....... don't you just hate when that happens?!

For the rest of my card I used plain purple cardstock from my stash, mini dots paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The purple ribbon and rhinestone flourishes are from the Hobby House, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cute little glass pebbles are from Live & Love Crafts.  The lace and blue gems are both from my stash.

I really hope you'll pop on over to the Challenge and check out my DTeamies' fabulous creations and enter your beautiful creations for us to have a drool over at the same time :)

Look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you all for popping by here today and wishing you all have a fabby weekend!

Scribble & Scrap # 14 - Anything Goes

Happy Sunday Everyone! Another fabulous sunny day here in the South East - hope it's warm and bright wherever you are too!

Guess what?  It's time for another ANYTHING GOES Challenge at

Our challenge winner will receive a £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble & Scrap Shop, however, if the winner has used a Scribble & Scrap product, the prize will be raised to a mahoosive £20.  Top 3 also win a very generous £5 voucher each too!  How cool is that?
Please check out the RULES to be in with a chance of winning!

For my post today, I had sooooo much fun dressing up a tissue box holder.  I have made this as a birthday gift for my fabulous boss ..... hope she likes it as I do so want to keep my job ;)

This is a picture heavy post .... hope you manage to stay with me to the end LOL
I decorated each side of the box with some gorgeous Scribble & Scrap digital papers - Vintage Paper Set 1 being the 'base' paper merged with Grungy Florals - Natural for the centre circle on each.
I have popped a mini 'feather boa' around the top hole to tie in with the gorgeous gal I've used - okay, so my boss may get feathers on her nose when she wipes ..... but they'll be pretty feathers ;)
This adorably cute image is called Lola Cabaret and can be found in the Artbymiran shop HERE.
I just had to have this little doll .... not only is she uber cute, she also has the same name as my little granddaughter - minus 'cabaret' of course! Heehee!
I have decorated the left side of the box to mirror the right - using a mixture of all of my favourite things to embellish with.  Buttons, pearls, die-cut butterflies, flowers, pearl flourishes and lace - keeping enough space free to show off the beautiful papers.
The back has been kept to a bare minimum
so it can be put against a wall, if my boss so wishes, without squashing anything :)

Lola has been coloured up with Copics in the following:
Skin:  E000, E00, E11, E21, E04
Hair/Dress/Stockings:  C0, C1, C3, C5
Skirt/Shoes:  E33, E31, E51, E50

Items used:  Pearls, pearl string, buttons, pearl flourish - all from the Hobby House
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Lace & 'feather boa' - from a gorgeous little shop in Windsor
Tissue Box - from 'Make It' craft event (MDF Man)
Various die-cut butterflies and doily
Glitter card from stash

Our first challenge is ANYTHING GOES so no excuses not to join in :)
Mi Ran is offering a fabulous prize to each of our Winners and Top 3 and you can check out all the info plus the rules HERE.

For my first Challenge DT card, I chose to colour up the extremely beautiful Ceridwen

I absolutely adore how dainty and delicate she is with her flowing hair and dress!

I coloured her up with Copics and fussy cut around her, then layered her onto my die-cut mat which has her pretty flower shower happening all around her!

The DP's are Bonnets & Bowties from LOTV.  The flowers are a mixture from WOCHobby House and Live & Love Crafts.  Lace, pearl strings, rhinestone flourish, adhesive pearls & bling are all from HH and the butterfly die and heart doily are from Joanna Sheen.

The little zipper is from my stash and says 'precious' ... which I think suits this gorgeous girl perfectly!

Morning everyone! Hope you're all keeping well.

It's Scribble & Scrap Challenge time again! As always, it's
ANYTHING GOES
and we want to see all of your fabulous new creations over this next coming fortnight.

The winner of the challenge will receive a £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble & Scrap Shop, however, if the winner has used a Scribble & Scrap product, the prize rises to a whopping £20.  Top 3 also gain from a fabulous £5 voucher too!  To be in with a chance of winning, please check out the RULES as we really wouldn't want you to miss out!

My card today is showcasing some stunning digital papers called Grungy Florals - Natural, which can be found in the SHOP alongside a whole host of beautiful paper sets - not forgetting some gorgeous vintage photo sheets, digital stamps and sentiments.

The adorable digi stamp on my card is Shy Girl by Art by Mi Ran and I coloured her up in Copics to match in with the gorgeous turquoise tone of the paper.
You may or may not have noticed too that I've also printed the paper design onto a doily.  I'm quite proud of myself with this one as, although I've inked and stamped onto doilies, I've never actually printed onto them!  I was a bit wary in case my printer ate it ..... but it didn't and all was good!  Yay!! Lol.

A little close up of my printed pattern doily :)
