A big welcome to all of my lovely followers and visitors to my little space in the crafting world of blogland! I love colouring, drool over every embellishment and love to 'look' at papers (never mind using them) - some are just TOO good to use lol. I hope you enjoy your little wander through my creative world and would love to feel that I may have inspired some of you in some small way. Happy Crafting to you all and I hope you will stop by again soon!

Morning everyone - hope you're all feeling fab on this gorgeously bright, sunny Sunday!

Today's post is a MID CHALLENGE REMINDER for Challenge #11 at Lacy Sunshine Challenge.  Team Lexie have come up with some adorably cute creations using Heather's amazing new images, which you can find HERE.

The challenge is, as always, ANYTHING GOES (using a hand coloured image) and, as always, Heather has generously offered an adorable free digi for you to create with should you wish.

My little creation is using the incredibly cute Cupcake Sticky Wings

then added Liquid Pearls to the top of each little cupcake in her hair and, of course, onto her gorgeous cupcake seat!  A sprinkling of glitter was added to her little wings!

My card ingredients are:

Curly Sue - Lioness

Hi everyone and a very happy Tuesday to you all - and a very Happy Birthday to ...... ME!! Yay!! Lol!  Oooh! Another year older (that's for sure) Another year wiser (not so sure) ha ha!

Well, I've been super busy since returning from my hols and, on my return to work last week I was very pleased to have a letter awaiting me which informed me I have now been promoted to Accounts Manager .... Woohoo!! My youngest daughter is also now working with me - Uh Oh! Double Trouble ;)

Anyway, enough of me and on to this delightful new Limited Edition Oz stamp created by the extremely talented, Heather Valentin.  She's called Curly Sue - Lioness and you can find her HERE alongside oodles of fantastic, gorgeous new releases!  A fab video of my Teamies' creations showcasing all of the Oz stamps can be seen HERE on the Lacy Sunshine blog.
Isn't she just adorable in all of her finery!

I absolutely LOVED colouring her up and hope I've done her justice :)  I actually used both Copics and Spectrum Noirs for this li'l lady - I'm a little cross with some of my Copics at the moment (browns) as they're not behaving!! Therefore, my Spectrum Noirs had to save the day - I don't think they did too bad seeing as I haven't really used them properly for a long while!

My papers are from Pink Petticoat.  I bought them as a download two years ago and not sure if they're still available to be totally honest!  I thought they'd go perfectly with Curly Sue on this occasion - so pleased I remembered I had them lol.

I kinda went a little OTT with the Frantage but, hey, I had loads of fun with it!

Also, don't forget to hop on over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge to see what else some of my Teamies have been creating over the weekend and to enter your creations - as always, it's ANYTHING GOES with a hand coloured image.

Fran-tage and Bark Heart from Live and Love Crafts
Roses, Rhinestone Sparklers and Silver Rope Pearl Button from The Hobby House
Bling from stash

I'd like to enter my card into the following:

Artistic Inspirations Ch #47 - Fur or Feathers
Make It Monday #146 - Linky Party - Anthing Goes
Quirky Crafts Challenge #13 - Everybody wants to be a Cat
Sentimental Sundays #160 - For the Girls

The Hobby House - DT Inspiration

Hiya everyone and a very happy Wednesday to you all!  Hope you're all keeping well and happy!

I've just nicely arrived back from our fabulous Egyptian holiday feeling totally refreshed and raring to go (there again!!) We're missing it already - especially the glorious hot sunshine, fabulous people and beautiful surroundings!  What a place ..... definitely planning our next trip there!  I don't think our little George would forgive us if we didn't go back, bless him!  He absolutely loved every second of it :)

My DT Inspiration today is from one of my three pre-DT creations for The Hobby House, which hasn't yet been shown.  I hope you'll forgive me now for not creating something brand new (but I didn't have room in my suitcase for crafty things - too many bikinis were needed lol).

My inspiration for today is a little gift box, created to compliment my Tea Party theme.  The whole set comprises a Party Invite, a Thank You card and the little gift box is to accompany the Thank You card.

The backing card is a combination of Kanban and Kraft card.  The beautiful lace trim and separate flower edge trim, along with the ribbon, rhinestone sparklers and gems on the box are all from The Hobby House and which you can find HERE, as is the adorable Mo Manning Tea Party Topper.

Thank you so much for popping by today and I hope to be up and running and back to my normal blogging soon!
Big hugs,

Lacy Sunshine Ch #10 and a BIG Happy Birthday!!!

Good morning all - hope you're all keeping well and happy and enjoying this fantastic, warm weather we're having at the moment!!

It's Challenge time again at Lacy Sunshine and this time it's an extra special fortnight as we're celebrating
ELEANOR & PICKLES' 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!

A whole year ago this Dynamic Duo were created by the most talented, Heather Valentin, and the fabulous Lacy Sunshine Gang has been growing ever since!  You'll find the gang HERE with an array of images including Eleanor & Pickles, The Gnomes of Gnarly Wood, Flowerpot Pretties and Melancholy Moppets ..... to name just a few!

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES (as long as it includes a hand-coloured image) so no excuses for not entering :)

For my card I am using Eleanor & Pickles Pastry Chefs

I've coloured this fab pair up with Copics - I thought I'd make it a bright, fun card seeing as it's for a very happy celebration!  I won't list the Copics as I'd be here for a while lol ..... but a fair few were used, I can tell you :)

I matted E & P onto my gorgeous Nitwit papers, die-cut & coloured the little kitchen utensils and made a 'hanging rail' for them all to be displayed on .....

I added a bit of stickles and pearls and voila ...... all ready for their BIG day!

I really hope you'll pop on over, enter your creation and have a look at what my amazing Teamies have created this time - honestly, they'll blow your socks off!

Thanks so much for popping by today and I'll be back very soon :)
Big hugs, xx
